Pump it up, Parramore

Last updated on July 06, 2026

The Parramore Main Street District, in partnership with the City of Orlando Families, Parks and Recreation Department and the Downtown Development Board / Community Redevelopment Agency (DDB/CRA), has installed three new bike repair stations throughout the Parramore community - continuing efforts to expand mobility options and enhance neighborhood amenities.

These new stations are now available at three key, easy-to-access community locations: Z.L. Riley Park, the Callahan Neighborhood Center, and the John H. Jackson Neighborhood Center.

Bicycles remain a primary and practical form of transportation for many residents in Parramore, making these repair stations a meaningful and functional addition. Whether it’s a quick tire pump, minor adjustment, or routine maintenance check, the stations provide on-the-go support that helps keep riders moving safely and efficiently through the district.

Beyond convenience, these installations reflect a broader commitment to accessibility, sustainability, and neighborhood vibrancy. The Parramore Main Street District and its partners continue to invest in improvements that support multiple modes of transportation while strengthening the overall livability of the community.

Main Street districts play a unique role in Orlando’s neighborhood ecosystem. While they actively support small businesses and help preserve historic character, they also contribute to beautification efforts and community-focused enhancements. These types of investments recognize that a thriving business environment depends on a thriving neighborhood - one where residents want to spend time, connect, and enjoy local experiences.

The addition of bike repair stations is another step in that direction. It’s a simple but impactful amenity that responds directly to everyday needs in the community, while reinforcing a shared vision for a more connected, active, and accessible Parramore.
