Orange You Hungry? Two New Restaurants Are Coming Downtown

Last updated on July 06, 2026

Two new full-service restaurants are expected to join downtown’s growing mix of culinary experiences by the end of the year, bringing fresh concepts and new opportunities for residents, workers, and visitors to enjoy. Recently, the Orlando Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has approved funding to support the opening of Tropix and Davanti that will bring new flavors and experiences to Orange Avenue.

Located at 100 S. Orange Ave., Tropix will feature a Jamaican-inspired fine-dining experience with approximately 80 seats. Just a few blocks north at 410 N. Orange Ave., Davanti will introduce French-inspired cuisine in an equally elegant full-service setting with seating for approximately 80 guests.

These new restaurants reflect the continued momentum of downtown Orlando's restaurant industry and the CRA's commitment to attracting quality dining experiences that serve residents, employees, and visitors alike.

Led by experienced restaurateurs, both concepts are expected to open later this year, adding to the diverse mix of businesses that make downtown Orlando a destination for dining, entertainment, and nightlife.
