James Beard Nominee Jason Chin Joins Downtown Development Board

Jason is a seasoned restauranteur and a co-founder of Good Salt Restaurant Group, which includes beloved downtown favorites like Reyes Mezcaleria, The Monroe, and Sparrow Wine Bar. A proud UCF alum, Jason brings a deep passion for community, culture, and hospitality to everything he does.

Alongside his wife and business partner, Sue Chin, Jason was recently named a 2025 James Beard Award nominee in the Outstanding Restaurateur category. This is a testament to their incredible impact on downtown Orlando's dining scene and dedication to culinary excellence.

With roots in entrepreneurship and years of experience elevating Orlando's dining scene, Jason's insight will be invaluable as we continue building a vibrant and dynamic downtown.
