History of LaBelle Furs

LaBelle Furs is a fully functioning multifaceted furrier that opened in 1919. The LeBellman family originally started the family owned business as a tailor shop. After the family’s uncle and father saw women in Dallas wear full length fur coats, they decided to start adding fur to their collection. Eventually, selling furs became their whole business and people all over the county came to purchase their goods and services. LaBelle Furs is one of the oldest businesses in downtown Orlando, despite the odds of selling fur in the mist of the Orlando heat.
