The Orlando Fire Department and Lighthouse Central Florida will host an inclusive Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt to provide visually impaired children the opportunity to participate in the beloved holiday tradition often inaccessible to them due to their visual impairment. The OFD Arson and Bomb Squad created special Easter eggs and will bring them to the front lawn of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Designed to look and feel like regular Easter eggs, the large, colorful eggs also include an audible element that helps visually impaired children locate them without the sense of sight.
