Opening Reception for 'Son of the City—the Art of Paul Columbus'

You are invited to the Art in the Chambers Opening Receptionon Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Public Art Review Board presents 'Son of the City—the Art of Paul Columbus'.

Paul says, “The goal with my art practice is to get to a trans-formative dimension where I am not confined by the restraints of the ‘Material World.’ It is in this state of being, I can access my full creative potential and enter a flow state. I get most of my inspiration in life itself, and the interactions with other living beings. It’s my belief that life should be fun and when I paint it brings me that fun. In my painting practice, I like to explore a variety of techniques with marker, acrylic, and aerosol. Being a self-taught artist, trial and error is essential, just as it is a part of being alive.” (www.paulcolumbusartwork.com)

The exhibit will be on display in the Board of County Commissioners Chambers Gallery at the Orange County Administration Center (201 S. Rosalind Ave., Orlando, FL 32801) from Monday, June 3 to Friday, September 20, 2024. The Administration Center is open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except for holidays.
