Isaiah J. Thompson is an award-winning pianist and composer known for blending traditional jazz and gospel influences. Drawing inspiration from artists like John Coltrane, he creates compositions that are sophisticated and deeply rooted in spiritual expression. As a Juilliard-trained artist, recognized for his vibrant and technically impressive style, he’s the winner of the 2023 American Pianists Awards and Cole Porter Fellowship in Jazz. Isaiah has performed alongside jazz icons including Christian McBride and Wynton Marsalis, contributed to the Golden Globe-nominatedMotherless Brooklyn soundtrack and now serves on the Jazz Studies faculty at The Juilliard School.
