With an illustrious career spanning nearly five decades, the aptly nicknamed El Caballero de la Salsa (Gentleman of Salsa) has established his position as one of the most notable performers of tropical music worldwide and has earned his place among the most celebrated Latin music icons. Santa Rosa is a multi-GRAMMY® winner, including one GRAMMY® Award and five Latin GRAMMY® Awards. He is also a recipient of the prestigious American Society of Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) Latin Heritage Award. Billboard named him Tropical Artist of the Decade (2010) and he holds the Guinness World Record for the most number-one albums on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart.
