38th Annual MLK Parade

Join the Southwest Orlando Jaycees for an exciting event that will take place of the downtown Orlando Parade and feature dance, comedy, community organizations, drumlines, music, artistic expression and more. 

Parade theme: "It Starts with Me: Cultivating a Beloved Community Mindset to Break the Cycle of Injustice"

The following roadways will be closed on Saturday, January 14  while the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Parade is happening.

  • Road closures from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
    • West Concord Street from tracks to Orange Ave
    • West Amelia Street from railroad tracks to Magnolia Avenue
    • West Livingston from railroad tracks to Magnolia Avenue 
    • Robinson Street From Orange Avenue to Broadway Avenue 
    • Orange Avenue from Concord Street to Central Avenue

Road closures from Saturday, January 14  9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

  • Central Boulevard from Orange Avenue to Rosalind Avenue 
  • Rosalind Avenue from Central Boulevard to Livingston Street
