The Downtown Development Board (DDB) and Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) are welcoming new members and leadership as they continue their work to help shape the future of downtown Orlando.
We are pleased to welcome Michael “Mike” Scott, Jeffrey Miller and Dawn Ofodile, each of whom bring a strong commitment to community, leadership, and the continued growth of downtown Orlando.
Mike Scott and Jeffrey Miller are joining the CRA Advisory Board. Mike Scott is a longtime Orlando resident, U.S. Air Force veteran, and dedicated community mentor. For more than 18 years, he has partnered with local organizations to create mentorship, personal development and educational programs serving youth and families. He has also held leadership roles with the Boy Scouts of America and has been recognized for his commitment to community service. Jeffrey Miller has called Orlando home since 1986 and downtown Orlando home since 1998. An active and influential member of the central Florida community, he has served on numerous nonprofit boards and the 2018 Orange County Charter Review Commission. He has also played a significant role in the relocation and construction of the new Holocaust Museum for Hope and Humanity, anticipated to open downtown in 2028.
Dawn Ofodile joins both the DDB and CRA Advisory board and brings 15 years of experience in community engagement and philanthropy across central Florida’s public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As Vice President of Market Engagement for Regions Bank in Orlando, she leads local marketing, business development and philanthropic initiatives. Dawn serves on several community boards and has been recognized for her leadership and community impact.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Kimberly Stewart for her dedicated service to the DDB and CRA Advisory Board. Appointed in 2022 and reappointed in 2023, Kimberly served through June 2026 and contributed to important initiatives including the DTO Retail Program, Park DTO, the High Wage High Value Job Creation Program, The Canopy, and amendments to the Down Payment Assistance Program for CRA Homes.
Finally, we are excited to welcome Rachel Moalli as the new Chair of both the DDB and CRA Advisory Board. Rachel is Senior Director of Corporate Affairs & Community Engagement at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, where she leads government and community relations, arts and wellness programming, and board administration. Her extensive community leadership and advocacy experience will be a tremendous asset as we look toward downtown Orlando’s future.
