Thank you to everyone who came out for State of Downtown, hosted by the Downtown Orlando Partnership and presented with support from OUC - The Reliable One. The event showcased the momentum, creativity, and collaboration shaping downtown’s future.
Instead of a traditional address, the Mayor brought together a panel of local and national leaders for a conversation focused on the four pillars of the DTO Action Plan, arts and culture, food, businesses, and gathering and how when they come together, they shape a stronger, more resilient urban core.
During the discussion, Midtown Development announced its plan to reimagine the nearly 20-acre former Orlando Sentinel site, teaming up with the world renowned Heatherwick Studio. This long-term investment supports the DTO Action Plan and will help shape a downtown that feels more welcoming, creative, and full of possibility.
