New “Possibilities” Mural has Arrived to Downtown Orlando
Last updated on May 05, 2025
In partnership with KB Murals and artist Kristi Burke, the CRA has brought Possibilities to life on the northeast side of the Amelia Street Parking Garage, near Amelia Street and Hughey Avenue.
Standing 19 feet tall and 37 feet wide, the mural is painted on an aluminum panel, fabricated and installed by AC Signs LLC, to ensure a smooth, seamless installation across the garage’s uneven surface.
Kristi Burke, the artist also known for the vibrant “Unbelievably Real” mural at 30 S. Orange Ave., designed Possibilities as a tribute to imagination and the limitless opportunities found in everyday life. A bold, geometric hand cradles a paper airplane, poised for takeoff - symbolizing creativity in motion. Additional paper airplanes soar into the distance, representing the many directions our ideas can take. Set against a backdrop of bright blue sky and dreamy pink clouds, the mural invites viewers to embrace curiosity and dream big.
This new artwork reflects our ongoing mission to enhance public spaces through art, transforming a once-blank garage facade into a dynamic visual landmark. Possibilities now adds color, identity, and inspiration to downtown Orlando - visible from Amelia Street, Hughey Avenue, and even I-4.
