The Discover Downtown Info Center has a vibrant new addition, What Lifts You Orlando, a stunning mural created by internationally renowned artist Kelsey Montague of Montague Art, LLC. Known around the world for her iconic wing murals, Montague has designed this piece specifically for Downtown Orlando, blending art, local landmarks, and a spirit of inspiration.
Painted in vivid acrylic, the mural features a set of angel wings filled with iconic Downtown imagery including the Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain, swans of Lake Eola, and recognizable buildings of the downtown skyline including the dome of City Hall. It also nods to the heart of the city with “DTO” and the beloved 407 area code woven into the design.
This installation reflects the CRA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing public spaces through dynamic art and cultural experiences. Located inside the Discover Downtown Info Center at 201 S Orange Ave., this mural is not just a beautiful backdrop, it's an invitation.
