Inter&Co Stadium stands as a symbol of community pride and shared passion. Home to both Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride, as well as the newly announced UFL team, The Orlando Storm, the stadium hosts more than 30 games each season with each one being an opportunity for fans to come together, celebrate, and experience the very best of Orlando’s spirit.
But the excitement inside the stadium goes far beyond the action on the pitch. Behind the scenes, Kelly Hyne, Senior Vice President of Brand Alliances, and Jarrod Dillon, President of Business Operations, work tirelessly to make every game day a celebration of the city itself.
“Part of our mission is really to create memorable experiences that unite our community and engage fans,” says Hyne. “We want everyone to walk away feeling like they’ve not only seen incredible athletes perform, but that they’ve had an unforgettable time downtown.”
From the pre-game tailgates that fill the streets with anticipation, to post-game celebrations that spill into local restaurants and bars, every matchday becomes a full-day experience that fuels downtown’s vibrant energy.
“Sports downtown works so well because it brings people in—not just for a few hours, but for the whole day,” Hyne explains. “Downtown Orlando is so walkable and accessible, and all of us are working together to make it a thriving place, literally 24/7.”
That community spirit was on full display during the Orlando Pride’s 2024 NWSL Championship season, a defining moment in the city’s sports history. The victory parade, which stretched down Orange Avenue and ended at City Hall, united the city in a way few events can.
“I had a chance to stand up there that night and look into the crowd and see so many young kids—boys and girls—dreaming of being on that stage one day like our ladies, our Orlando Pride.” Jarrod Dillon, President of Business Operations recalls. “Pun intended we all took a lot of pride in that, as a city. It galvanized us to be a part of that.”
Beyond local milestones, Inter&Co Stadium continues to elevate Orlando’s global profile. With major events such as the FIFA Club World Cup hosted in their grounds over the summer, the stadium’s impact reaches far beyond the stands, it’s helping put Orlando on the international sports map.
As Orlando continues to grow, Inter&Co Stadium remains at the heart of it all, a place where passion meets community, and where every match is more than a game. It’s a reflection of who we are as a city: diverse, united, and always looking ahead.
“I think what makes Orlando unique is that people come from all walks of life, all places in the world and we work together and we get major things accomplished together,” says Hyne. “The community has really thrived and I’m excited and very privileged to be a part of it.”
