Ho, Ho, Hold On... Here's Your First Look at Downtown for the Holiday

It may be the middle of summer, but we're already counting down to the most festive time of the year. Downtown for the Holidays returns this December with even more holiday magic, and we couldn't wait to share a few exciting updates. 

In addition to weekend activations, we're adding three extra nights of holiday fun - December 17, 21, and 22 - giving families even more opportunities to visit the Merry Market, meet Santa, and snap photos with everyone's favorite holiday troublemaker, the Grinch! Speaking of the Grinch, his loyal sidekick Max will be joining the meet-and-greet experience, making those holiday photo ops even more memorable. 

We're also turning up the winter wonder with upgraded snowfall effects as part of our nightly snow experience. Between meeting the Grinch, riding the train, and enjoying the holiday festivities, you're bound to need a snack break. New vendors near the Grinch's Lair will offer convenient grab-and-go treats, including popcorn, cookies, snacks, and drinks, making it easy to keep the holiday fun going. 

And that's not all. Heritage Square will come alive with a new mini market featuring face painters, holiday characters, photo opportunities, and more activities designed to spread cheer throughout downtown. 

Looking for the perfect holiday keepsake? This year, you'll also be able to purchase a limited-edition commemorative Downtown for the Holidays boot mug - a festive souvenir that's perfect for sipping your favorite seasonal beverage while making holiday memories.
