We’re proud to welcome Travel + Leisure Co. to their new international headquarters at 501 W. Church St., bringing more than 900 employees to the heart of our city - with 102 additional high-wage jobs on the way. When an internationally recognized company chooses downtown Orlando, it sends a clear signal that our urban core is worth investing in, has a strong economic future, and is an attractive place for talented people to live and work.
To support this relocation, Orlando City Council approved targeted incentives, alongside investment through the CRA’s High Wage/High Value Job Creation Program. These incentives are designed to attract employers, drive long-term economic growth, and generate lasting returns for the community.
This investment means more people working, dining, and spending downtown - supporting small businesses and contributing to a more vibrant, active city throughout the week. Travel + Leisure’s presence also reinforces Orlando’s identity as more than a visitor destination. While we are proud to be a global travel capital, this move highlights that Orlando is also a serious place to do business, build careers, and grow companies.
Their new wellness-focused, collaborative workspace reinforces downtown Orlando’s position as a premier destination for global companies. CEO Michael Brown has shared that the move downtown was driven by the area’s ability to support workforce connectivity and daytime vibrancy - combining transportation access, restaurants, entertainment, and cultural experiences into a workplace environment that attracts and retains top talent.
Thank you to Mayor Buddy Dyer, City Council, and our partners for continuing to invest in opportunities that create high-value jobs, strengthen our urban core, and fuel downtown Orlando’s momentum.
