Last updated on October 29, 2021

The City of Orlando has long supported the growth and development of its downtown corridor through the work of the Downtown Development Board, which began in 1971. Fifty years later, there is much to celebrate and reflect upon.

The Orange County Regional History Center’s exhibition, The City Beautiful - 50 Years of Developing Downtown Orlando, highlights the achievements of the Downtown Development Board opens on November 5. Through a timeline of important events and photographs, visitors have the chance to see the growth of the City Beautiful. The exhibition will be on display now through January 30, 2022.
