Experience the magic after dark with Luminary Nights on the Green

The City of Orlando continues to increase the vibrancy of downtown Orlando with the launch of "Luminary Nights on the Green" at the city's newest park, Luminary Green, in Creative Village. This 20-minute show turns the iconic ORLANDO sign into a canvas that comes alive with projected animations and lighting to music, all while showcasing the unique and authentic features of Orlando, like nature, innovation, thrills, and hospitality. The show debuted on Wednesday, May 10 and will continuously run every evening from dusk until 10 p.m. 

Viewers will catch glimpses of Orlando's natural beauty, from wetlands to thunderstorms, as well as the many attractions that solidify Orlando's reputation as a world-class destination. Components of the show will be switched out for patriotic holidays and the December holiday season. Additionally, the City of Orlando worked alongside Visit Orlando and the Orlando Economic Partnership to produce a one-minute segment known as "Awakening" that engages the community in culture projects that represent the regional brand Unbelievably Real. Awakening is an inspiring activation that defines what makes Orlando Unbelievably Real by taking the viewer on a colorful, visual journey. 

"Luminary Nights on the Green" is family-friendly, free and open to the public. Bonus! Parking is on us! On-street non-metered parking is free after 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and free on Sundays.
