Join us for these Black History Month events that recognize the lasting contributions and achievements of Black Americans to our nation’s history and cultural landscape:

Black History Month Art Exhibition: Visit the Terrance Gallery in Orlando City Hall for the Black History Month Art Exhibition, which celebrates the creativity, inspiration, and cultural heritage of African American visual artists, aligning with this year’s national Black History Month theme, “African Americans and the Arts.” The art exhibition runs from February 2 to March 31.

Parramore Historic Bus Tour: On Thursday, February 8, take a step back in history as we board a bus for a historic tour! Our special guest tour conductor for the event will be District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill. Following the tour, guests will enjoy complimentary admission to the Wells’ Built Museum of African American History and Culture.

The event is currently at max capacity, but you're welcome to join the waitlist for the 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. tour.

Meet the Artists: On Monday, February 12, engage with and gain insights from the talented artists behind the art pieces on display in the Black History Month art exhibition. Discover the inspiration, stories, and cultural influences that shaped their work while enjoying coffee and donuts from black-owned and operated businesses.
