Women’s History Breakfast: Women in Central Florida Sports
Next date: Wednesday, March 25, 2026 | 08:00 AM
to 10:00 AM
Join the Historical Society of Central Florida for the 7th Annual Women’s History Breakfast hosted by Orlando Pride. This inspirational morning will celebrate Central Florida women who opened doors in the sports industry and made their mark on history.
Our 2026 honorees include Mimi Chan, martial arts champion and international competitor; Cari Coats, former executive vice president of the Orlando Magic and a nationally recognized business leader and executive coach; the Orlando Pride, the city’s professional women’s soccer team; and the Orlando Rebels, the legendary women’s fastpitch softball team that helped put Central Florida on the national sports map.
Together, we’ll honor the resilience of these power players, reflect on their lasting impact, and continue the journey toward greater representation and leadership in sports. We’ll also salute the history of all women who have played sports in Central Florida, including generations of student-athletes on school and college teams.
In addition to funding the HER story: Women in History Internship, your support of this event provides critical funds for the Orange County Regional History Center’s education, exhibitions, and community enrichment programs.
Tickets are $45 each or become a table sponsor for $500 (table sponsorship includes seats for 10 people and recognition as a table sponsor at the event). Complimentary parking is available.
