About Sensory Sundays
During Sensory Sundays, we aim to provide a welcoming experience for guests with autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing sensitivity. Accommodations include a social narrative to help plan your visit, decreased audio in exhibits, limited flashing or moving lights, access to noise-reducing earmuffs, fidget/sensory toys, and a quiet space. Additionally, sensory-friendly activities are available throughout the museum for hands-on, accessible learning.
