Nick Cartell
Tanner Johnson is a lifelong violinist and multi-instrumentalist hailing from the Pacific Northwest, and an alumnus of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Known for his instrumental virtuosity, dynamic performances and stylistic versatility, his 20 years of experience spans the musical spectrum. He has performed with bands and orchestras around the world, both as a soloist and a sideman, notably working with John Patitucci, Ivan Lins, The Receiving End of Sirens and The Dear Hunter.
Most famous for his portrayal of Jean Valjean on the North American Tour of Les Misérables, a role he’s performed over a thousand times, Nick has also been previously seen on Broadway in Paramour, the first musical produced by Cirque Du Soleil. Nick has also appeared in Scandalous the Musical and can be heard on the Original Broadway Cast Recording.
