This Grammy Award nominated guitarist is keeping the tradition of Brazilian music alive through his own modern interpretations. A virtuoso who’s been lauded for his superb technique, timing and imagination, Diego Figueiredo fuses jazz, bossa nova and classical in a joyful sound that’s created an explosion of adoring fans around the world.

The winner of several competitions including the Montreux Jazz Competition and the VISA Prize, Diego has performed in over forty countries and has released over 30 CDs to date, three DVDs and several instructional books. He has performed solo and in duos and trios with the likes of Larry Coryell, Ken Peplowski, John Clayton, Jeff Hamilton, Chuchito Valdes, Stanley Jordan and Cyrille Aimée.
