Chitãozinho & Xororó’s music combines traditional Brazilian caipira with pop and helped establish the sertanejo genre—also known as Brazillian country music. The duo released their first album in 1970 and have sold over 30 million albums since. Their newest album won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Sertaneja Music Album. They’ve also collaborated with both Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire.
