Ben Sollee is a Kentucky-based musician and composer known for blending American folk, soul and global southern influences with his signature cello-driven sound. His latest album, Long Haul (2024), continues this genre-defying approach, combining rich vocals, hand percussion and woodwinds into a textural sound with emotional resonance.

Ben has also worked on film and podcast projects, creating the music score for the films Land, directed by Robin Wright and Maggie Moore(s), directed by John Slattery, starring Tina Fey and Jon Hamm. He also composed the music for the podcast Unreformed, recently nominated for a Peabody Award.
