The $65 million Dr. Phillips Academic Commons, which opened in August 2019, is the first new academic building for UCF downtown and the Valencia College Downtown campus and features four stories of active learning spaces, including classrooms, library, study and tutor spaces, a moot court, and academic offices. The building is a state-of-the-art learning facility designed by Schenkel Schultz Architecture and Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
