Downtown Orlando hosts more than 1,200 events a year. Here are some upcoming events. 

Orlando Sound Bites 

Lake Eola Park 

The City of Orlando is proud to bring you an all-new fusion festival – Orlando Sound Bites, Saturday, April 7 at Lake Eola Park. 

Orlando Sound Bites combines Orlando’s hip contemporary culinary scene, with indie/outlaw country, top-shelf liquor brands, and craft brews. Gates open at 5 p.m. on the Southeast Lawn at Lake Eola Park. Make sure to check out live music by The Cadillac Three and others throughout the day. The ambiance and tunes are free, while food and drink will be available for purchase. 

Spring Fiesta in the Park

The 29th annual Spring Fiesta in the Park will be held at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando on April 7 and April 8, 2018. Come out and enjoy over 200 artists and craftsmen, live entertainment, and plenty of yummy food.  

IOA Corporate 5k

Lake Eola Park

Attend Orlando’s largest office party on April 12! Held exclusively for Florida’s corporate community; businesses and non-profit organizations form teams and participate in the IOA Corporate 5k for camaraderie, friendly competition and celebrating with co-workers. The participating population is made up of over 18,000 runners and walkers from over 700 companies, non-profit organizations and 200+ CEOs. For more information, please visit

Eagles and Jimmy Buffet & The Coral Reefer Band

Earth Day Work Day 

City Hall Plaza 

Celebrate Earth Day outdoors on City Hall Plaza at Earth Day Work Day! From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 20, this lunchtime sustainability fair will feature games, giveaways, music, and tips on how to be green at work and at home. Food and beverages will be available for purchase both on City Hall Plaza and across the street at the Dr. Phillips Center Food Truck Friday. 

Orlando Carnival Downtown 

Camping World Stadium 

The Original Orlando Carnival Association will host the 31st annual Orlando Carnival. The Carnival will be held in downtown Orlando on Sunday, May 27 starting at noon. 

The Orlando Carnival is a family-friendly festival filled with pageantry and a weekend of parties that celebrate the Caribbean culture. Festival goers are in for a good time with live music, arts and crafts vendors, and more.
