What do you get when you combine comedy, Bill Murray and a dose of fright? Movie Night Downtown at Lake Eola Park. This Sunday, March 14 grab takeout from your favorite Downtown restaurant and head to the Walt Disney World Amphitheatre at Lake Eola Park for a special showing of Ghostbusters! The event begins at 7:45 PM with a special pre-cinema performance by Sak Comedy Lab, followed by the feature presentation. The event presented by The Orlando Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, Enzian and Orange County Regional History Center is the first of a series of movies that will be shown at Lake Eola Park.

Ghostbusters became a favorite among children and adults alike the instant it was released in 1984. The comedic film follows three wise-cracking scientists (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis) who after being fired from their collegiate jobs become professional Ghostbusters, trapping and removing ghosts from haunted houses. When one of New York City’s downtown skyscrapers becomes haunted by ghostly activity, it is up to the Ghostbusters to tame the spirits before they take over the whole city.
