Chocolate, Chocolate and more Chocolate! Chocolate truffles, cakes, cookies, candies, ice cream, coffee and much more is what to expect at the Festival of Chocolate.

The Science Center will have four floors of over 30 vendors. This exquisitely yummy event will be held on March 6 and 7 at the Orlando Science Center, The Festival of Chocolate is the region’s largest chocolate shopping, tasting, educational and interactive experience.

Entrance into the Festival of Chocolate is complimentary with your paid admission to the Orlando Science Center. Orlando Science Center members may show their Membership Cards and ID for Complimentary Admission. There are also incentives for buying your tickets early. In addition to four floors of interactive Orlando Science Center exhibits and experiences, your ticket gives you access to a one-of-a kind chocolate museum, demonstrations by award-winning pastry chefs, interactive chocolate activities , specialized chocolate classes, the "Best of" chocolate indulgence competition and the kids-4-chocolate workshop.

There will be two chocolate competitions held during the Festival of Chocolate. The chocolate showpiece competition will be held on Saturday March 6th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The chocolate plating dessert competition will be held on Sunday March 7th from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The competition will pit three local pastry schools, Valencia Community College, Le Cordon Bleu and Notter School of Pastry Arts against each other. The “Best of” chocolate indulgence competition will be held on Saturday deciding the best of six different categories.

There will also be different classes that you can participate in for a small fee. The details of the classes and seating will be available online.

There are some local downtown businesses participating in this event. Schakolad’s Chocolate Factory, Z-Coffee and the Crepe Company will be present during the Festival of Chocolate. The Sonesta Hotel (formerly Sheraton) is the official hotel for the Festival of Chocolate. The Sonesta Hotel has partnered with the Festival of Chocolate to offer discounts on hotel rooms to guests coming specifically for the Festival of Chocolate.
