Business Profile: Mucho Tequila and Mexican Kitchen

The doors have officially opened to the South Eola District’s newest dining hotspot. The guys behind successful Downtown favorites The Lodge, Room39 (now Finnhenry’s) and Stardust Lounge now bring us Mucho Tequila and Mexican Kitchen.

Tacos and tequila are the main menu attractions complemented by the usual suspects: burritos, fajitas and margaritas. “Mucho” tequila is an understatement, considering the 105 and counting types of tequila that line the full extension of the bar. Ranging from classic tequilas to tequila infused with berry, ask the well-informed bartenders for suggestions. The drunken shrimp tacos and the Mexican taco are customer favorites, but try the Pueblo taco for a little extra kick. Food and drink specials run daily from 4:00PM - 6:00PM including $2 tacos and margaritas. Always fresh and surprisingly inexpensive, you can enjoy dinner and a drink for $10.

Owner Mark Angelo and his business partners created an atmosphere that appeals to the masses. Be it after relaxing by the lake or to wind down after a long workweek, a combination of flip-flops and high heels gather for a good time. What can be described as casual chic, the restaurant includes a full service bar, high top tables and flat screens placed throughout.

Located at 101 S. Eola, Mucho opens daily at 4:00PM and 11:00AM for Sunday Brunch. Private parties, off-sight catering and reservations for six or more are available. For more information visit www.muchotequilaandtacos.com
