Each year, hundreds of spectators gather to see the beautiful floats and local marching bands as they march down Orange Avenue for the Martin Luther King’s Day parade in Downtown Orlando.
This year, Downtown Orlando will celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King with the 27th annual parade on Saturday, January 15 and a series of events held throughout the month.
The Orlando Film Festival will kick off tonight with an opening night party at Ember from 6:00PM – 8:15PM. Following the party, the opening night film, The Frost, will play at the Plaza Cinema Café.
The Orlando Film Festival is dedicated to supporting the cause of independent cinema. Their goal is to promote culture and the arts in Downtown Orlando by exposing a wide audience to the unique and diverse stories told by independent filmmakers from around the world.

The Downtown Concert Series is back and ready to rock City Hall Plaza! Tears For Fears will headline this quarters free concert on Saturday, August 28 at City Hall Plaza. The festivities begin at 4:00PM with the Gibson Opening Act, food and prizes.
