Water skiing at Lake Eola is not something you expect to see. This weekend, however, the City Beautiful will be hosting an “extreme water sports festival” featuring world-champion water skiers. This two-day festival will feature world champion water skiers competing for the sport’s largest purse prize, along with live music, motor shows, carnival rides, great food and more.
Tickets are $10 for Friday, September 7, $15 for Saturday, September 8 and $20 for both days. The festival isn’t just for adults, bring the kids along too because this is a family affair. Children ages 4 to 12 are welcome and organizers have included a Kidz Zone, featuring extreme sports like rock climbing and bungee jumping, but there will also be face painting, caricatures and a magic show. There’s a little something for everyone!
