More than 120 fine arts and crafts will be showcased on Lake Eola at the Art and Living Expo on Saturday and Sunday, February 20-21, 2010. There will be a variety of Downtown exhibits displaying jewelry, glass, mosaics, paintings, photography, pottery and sculpture.
For more information please visit www.downtownorlandoproperties.com. The Festival will take place on February 20-21 and is free!
Art exhibits will be judged by a panel of three independent judges who will select one piece that is representative of the artist’s work. The prizes awarded will be a $1000 cash award for Best Of Show and three ($500) Awards of Exellence.
This family friendly event will also have activities for children. In the Kids’ Zone there will be some hands-on activities that the whole family can participate in. Children will be able to learn more about the treasures found in the Orlando Museum of Art’s collection of artwork or be able to make their own little bit of “history” to take home with them. This activity will be presented by McDonald's, the Orlando Museum of Art and the Orange County Regional History Center.
