Today, the NFL announced that the Pro Bowl is coming to Camping World Stadium in 2017. The event has been a community effort with Florida Citrus Sports working closely with the City of Orlando, Orange County, Visit Orlando, Visit Florida,Visit Florida, Walt Disney World, ESPN, the Florida Sports Foundation, and more. Hosting the Pro Bowl has the potential to bring in more than $25.3 million in visitor spending for Orlando, based on estimates from the Hawaii Pro Bowls.
The Pro Bowl games are known to attract more than 50,000 attendees or more and generate thousands of hotel room nights over the multi-day events that include youth sports camps, activities and more involving NFL players and cheerleaders.
