Explore Art in Downtown Orlando

If it’s arts and culture you’re seeking, Downtown Orlando has nearly 20 art galleries and the new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, which showcases the region’s premiere performance groups as well as Broadway shows. In addition, each month Downtown welcomes thousands of visitors to the Third Thursday Gallery Hop. The event features numerous galleries and non-traditional art venues that spotlight the best of established and emerging Orlando-based artists in tandem with nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.

Downtown also has a collection of eight permanent contemporary public art sculptures created by eight internationally-renowned artists. Visitors are able to take the free SEE Art Orlando self guided tour to learn more about each of the sculptures.

Art in Odd Places (AiOP) is returning to Downtown Orlando. AiOP presents visual and performance art in unexpected public spaces. This year’s event will take place in Downtown Orlando from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13. More information about the event including locations and artists can be found on the AiOP website.
