The Downtown Orlando Public Library is the headquarters and reference center the Orange County Library System. The 290,000 square foot building covers an entire block. The library offers a vast selection of informational and entertainment materials in the numerous formats including books, magazines,videos, compact discs, tapes and DVDs. Public access computers feature Internet access and word processing. Art shows and displays, music and cultural programs, and story programs for children are featured regularly.
